Touring succulent gardens is a great way to get inspiration for your next project! This post includes a collection of photos from the amazing gardens at Waterwise Botanicals. This nursery has beautiful display gardens and a great variety of waterwise plants!
I had a hard time deciding what to tell you about next. Finally, I decided the best place to start was at the beginning with a tour of the amazing gardens and nursery of Waterwise Botanicals.
Waterwise Botanicals was the site of the Succulent Celebration and I don’t think they could have picked a better place! The goal of Waterwise is not only to sell plants, but show people how to have a water efficient garden.
They have beautiful display gardens that show the types of plants that grow well in the area and what types of plants you can pair with each other. These gardens are beautifully designed.
I could have spent hours walking through all of them. Oh wait, I did!
I went early to the nursery both days so I would have time to explore the gardens and take lots of pictures. Here are some of my favorites.
Also, there were a few people doing plein air paintings in the garden. So fun! I was wishing I would have brought my watercolors to do a couple post cards. Next time :).
It actually reminded me of something my mom would enjoy. She is a really talented painter and especially likes doing flowers.
Something unique about Waterwise Botanicals is all of the plants in the garden are labeled so you know what you are looking at. It gets even better though. They have an amazing database of plant information on their website so you can learn even more about the plants you like!
If you are ever driving through Escondido be sure to stop by and enjoy the beauty of Waterwise Botanicals! It is seriously one of the best nurseries I’ve been to!
Today’s post was all about the actual plants at Waterwise. Part two will show some of the amazing “potted” arrangements that were scattered throughout the gardens.
