Help!

My succulent is dying 😱

Don't toss it yet — most are totally saveable.

When did you last water it?

Most succulent deaths trace back to watering.

Crispy bottom leaves? Normal.

Succulents shed old growth — don't panic over those.

Warning sign

Yellow, mushy, see-through = overwatered

Echeverias can rot in just 2–3 days.

Black stems or soft spots?

That's severe rot — but the top can still be saved.

Easier to fix

Wrinkled, crispy top leaves = thirsty

Good news: underwatered plants bounce back fast.

Rotting? Cut above the rot.

Let the top callus, then propagate it into a fresh plant.

Underwatered? One or two deep soaks.

Then prevent it: well-draining soil + a drainage hole.

Never guess again

Track watering with pen, paper, or the Cheerful Plants app.
