Question:

I have succulent seeds under grow lights. If they sprout, do they like it when I spray water on their heads or do I have to use the soak method?

Answer:

Congrats on getting some new succulent babies! That’s really exciting!

Succulent seedlings like to stay wet. The best way to keep them in place and give them the water they need is to water from below. This prevents the soil from shifting as much when watering.

However, it’s not a problem to water from above. I’d recommend using something with a very slow or soft flow that can still put out a lot of water. Something like a garden sprayer would be great.

The most important thing is to keep the seedlings damp and in place. You can see how I’ve setup my seed propagation here.
